CONNECTING WOMEN TO GOD AND EACH OTHER
"Alive" Debut luncheon set for October 23, 2010
"Is anybody out there?" Sometimes that’s how we feel as women who desire
to know and follow Jesus Christ. Although we know we would benefit from participating
in Bible studies and serving with other women, it can be challenging to find those
"others," organize activities or groups, and connect to helpful resources.
The Women’s Leadership Institute of Concordia University recognizes these challenges
and has co-sponsored the creation of the "Alive" group, whose purpose
is to help foster relationships between women of the South Wisconsin District.
On Saturday, October 23rd, Alive will host their debut luncheon for women across
the state. It will be held at Lake Country Lutheran High School in Hartland from
11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The cost of the luncheon event is $20. All women are invited
to attend! The luncheon has been designed to provide a way for women to exchange
ideas, encourage each other, and grow in their walk with the Lord.
Read more about it at the Womens Leadership Institute's website. Registration form is
available at this location.
